Facts and practical information
The Bridge of the Saracens or of Carcaci is a stone bridge probably dating from the Roman period and rebuilt and modified in the 12th century over the Simeto River. It connects the territory of Adrano with that of Centuripe, near the Pecoraio Pass, and although it is called the Bridge of the Saracens it appears to have been built in medieval Norman times.
