Facts and practical information

The Animosi Theater is the main theater in the city of Carrara, often referred to as Gli Animosi. Located in the "For'd'Porta" neighborhood, it overlooks the pedestrian Cesare Battisti Square. The current theater season consists of prose, opera, ballet, classical and light music concerts. The premises of the ridotto host lectures, conferences, presentations, concerts and exhibitions. The building was closed to the public in 2010 and, after a brief three-month reopening in early 2017, closed again. In November 2019 it was opened again.
