Facts and practical information
The monument to Alessandro Rossi is a 1902 sculpture in Schio by Giulio Monteverde. The statue was created at the initiative of a town committee that arose with the aim of dedicating a monument to entrepreneur Alessandro Rossi. Sculptor Giulio Monteverde, who about two decades earlier had created, also in Schio, and precisely on Rossi's commission, the famous monument to the Weaver, was chosen for the task. Usually the people of Schio call the statue simply "the monument."
