The Science Centre Immaginario Scientifico is an interactive and experimental science museum with 3 locations in Friuli Venezia Giulia: in Trieste, Pordenone and Tavagnacco.
The IS belongs to the typology of "new generation museums," or science centers of the Anglo-Saxon school. In fact, the center adopts the peculiar exhibition techniques characteristic of interactive museums, with the presence of interactive stations that invite the public to experience and "touch" natural phenomena, and with the use of informal educational animation methodologies, namely thematic, interactive and tinkering workshops.
