San Giovanni Evangelista

The Church of Saint John the Evangelist is a Catholic place of worship located in the municipality of Rovegno, Via alla Chiesa, in the metropolitan city of Genoa. The church is the seat of the parish of the same name in the vicariate of Bobbio, Alta Val Trebbia, Aveto and Oltre Penice of the diocese of Piacenza-Bobbio.

Several religious buildings depend on the parish of Rovegno, such as the churches of St. Vincent in the hamlet of Garbarino and St. Matthew in the hamlet of Isola, the latter founded during the second half of the 17th century with a bell tower dating back to 1894, and the oratories of Spescia and Valle named after the Most Holy Name of Mary and St. Rocco, respectively.
