Facts and practical information
Torre della Pegna is a tower located near Capo Caccia in Alghero, built sheer on a cliff over 200 meters high, of Aragonese origin like the nearby towers of Tramariglio and Buru and Porto Conte. It is located within the state forest of Porto Conte - Prigionette and is reached by a path that breaks off and continues along the cliff path between the rock and vegetation. Almost in front of the tower, in a northwesterly direction, Piana Island is visible, which is detached from the rest of the coast.
