Museo Etrusco Guarnacci - an ancient art museum located in Palazzo Desideri Tangassi in Volter, founded in 1761.
Founding collections include a library, and the remains of the Etruscan civilization, offered a museum in 1761 by Maria Guarnacci of the literata and archaeologist born in Volter. Initially, the Museum was located in Gunnacci Palazzo Maffei, and after his death in 1785, the collection was transferred to Palazzo Priori, then in 1877 to Palazzo Desideri Tangassi, the current headquarters of the Museum.
Collections include, among others Over six hundred funeral urn made of Alabastra and terracotta, including a well-preserved Degli urn method. The exhibit of Etruscan art is also a votive Ombra della cheese statuette with an original, extended form. The collection includes numerous objects of everyday use, Etruscan and Roman.
