The tower of Castel Marino is a coastal tower located in the southern part of the municipal territory of Grosseto, in the heart of the Maremma Natural Park, which can be reached via route A2. The tower is located on a rise from which it overlooks the "Granducale pine forest" and a long coastal stretch from Cala di Forno to the mouth of the Ombrone River, with the view widening considerably on clear days. Compared with the nearby tower of Collelungo, the fortification is situated on a higher hill.
