Lichtenwalde Castle is a baroque castle owned by the Free State of Saxony, located in the district of the same name in the municipality of Niederwiesa in the district of Central Saxony. The castle is surrounded by a baroque park with numerous water features, which was named one of the most beautiful parks in Germany in 2005. Lichtenwalde Castle with its park is one of three houses that, along with Augustusburg Castle and Scharfenstein Castle, belong to the group "The Three Worth Seeing".
