Facts and practical information
The Casina delle Civette Museum is a former residence of the Torlonia family converted into a museum.
It is located within the grounds of Villa Torlonia in Rome. The name comes from the recurring theme of owls inside and outside the little house. In the 19th century it was known as the Swiss Hut because of its rustic appearance similar to that of an alpine hut or Swiss chalet.
