The shrine of the Miraculous Madonna - formerly the basilica of Saints James and Philip - is a Catholic place of worship located in the municipality of Taggia, in Piazza Cardinal Gastaldi in the historic center, in the province of Imperia. The church is the seat of the parish of Saints James and Philip of the Levante and Valle Argentina vicariate of the diocese of Ventimiglia-San Remo.
In December 1942 Pope Pius XII elevated the church to the dignity of minor basilica. The basilica was given the title of diocesan shrine on June 13, 2010 by Bishop Alberto Maria Careggio.
The main holidays are celebrated on March 11 for the anniversary of the first prodigy of the venerated Marian image and the first Sunday in June for the anniversary of its coronation.
