The church of Santa Maria Maddalena is a religious building located in Borutta, a town in northern Sardinia, on Corso Trieste; consecrated to Catholic worship, it is the seat of the parish of the same name and is part of the archdiocese of Sassari.
The church, dating from the 18th century, has a gabled facade marked by four pilasters. With an entrance portal raised above street level, it is accessed by a flight of thirteen steps. On the right stands the bell tower, a square-plan tower that, unlike the church façade, has square face brickwork. The interior hall, covered with a barrel vault, has a single nave, along which two chapels open on each side.
