Facts and practical information
The origins of the parish church of Santa Maria Maddalena are to be sought in the late antique settlement of the Santino Hill. Archaeological investigations have in fact revealed the presence of four buildings predating the present one, connected first to the castrum and then to the castle. The first would date back to the 7th century and would have been dedicated to St. John the Baptist.
